out of ctrl playfully explores the peculiar coexistence of two contrasting worlds in our day to day lives; the fast/digital/online, and the slow/analogue/offline. We have grown impatient in our technological world, yet still retain a level of patience for the handmade and tangible – perhaps out of necessity. Taking the form of sustainably hand crafted woven and digitally printed textiles, out of ctrl examines this theme through the angsty lens of modern day internet culture.
